Long term exposure to stress may lead to various disorders which threaten physical and mental health, as well as social well-being.
Greece was affected more than any other European country by the 2008 recession, and unemployment rates are constantly on the increase. In parallel to the increase in unemployment, there was an increase in the number of people stating that they are experiencing bad health, as well as in the percentage of criminality and suicides by 45%.
World Health Organization announces that the number of smokers globally exceeds 1,000,000,000.
